2006 BROKER OUTLOOK

Brokers in San Antonio, Dallas, Austin and Houston discuss what the new year holds for commercial real estate in Texas.

The commercial real estate market in Texas saw continued improvement in 2005, despite Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and the recent jump in energy prices. All four property types experienced growth — whether through increased construction starts or the absorption of vacant space — across the state. In 2006, the outlook appears to be even brighter. Texas Real Estate Business has spoken with brokers in several major markets to find out what the new year will bring.
